Here you will find various visual development, illustrations, designs and animations I've worked on over the years across a variety of projects and platforms.

User Interface

The Global UI designs show the overall visual language of the game.

I worked with another UI designer in keeping consistent with Disney’s 'Frozen' brand style. We utilized some provided patterns and snowflake designs and incorporated those into some elements of the user interface.

Badge Menu

Users can keep track of the badges they've gained from completing the activities. Various badges were designed for this menu.

Minigame UI

Icons were crafted to represent each activity. I wanted these to be stylized differently from the badge icons since they were shown before and after a player goes into a minigame.

I designed the HUD for the ice skating math minigame and the states for the timer.

The jewelry making minigame featured various jewelry types that I designed and digitally painted as assets. The user could drag and place various snowflakes on hotspots to make their own custom designs.

The shapes minigame was a pretty simple layout that involved stylized shapes that the player had to drag and match to help Elsa create ice sculptures of her friends.

Prizes

I digitally illustrated the prizes that players could win when completing minigames. These had to be rendered in a way that would fit within 'Frozen' but also look like Nordic-style toys.

The Three Little Pigs VR

A narrative-based storybook game developed for the Google Cardboard. I illustrated all of the backgrounds and contributed to the game design of the project.

Get Ready For Kindergarten

Fish Diet & Writing Bee

As part of a team of 2, I was the sole designer and artist on these cute web games that helped kids recognize letters and numbers. I crafted all of the art, UI, characters, and animations that you see and worked with a developer to implement and build the game.

'Cycles of Your Cognitive Learning: Expectations and Schema Training And Mitigation Center'

'Cycles' was a set of two projects developed for IARPA meant to teach intelligence analysts how to mitigate different kinds of cognitive bias.

I worked with a dynamic team and created a variety of artwork such as background illustrations, user interfaces, 2D vector objects, characters, marketing art and QA tested both games.

The visual aesthetic of these games are meant to be wacky but in retrospect, this project was mostly responsible for my initial interest in getting into UX.
